Toby Nangle is a finance professional currently serving as a Contributing Editor for the Financial Times and as an Independent Member of the Investment, Audit & Risk Committee at The RSA since October 2023. Nangle also holds a position on the Board of Trustees for the Baring Foundation, which focuses on strengthening civil society and promoting inclusivity and human rights. As the Founder of Principals With Principles from October 2022, Nangle has leveraged extensive experience gained at Columbia Threadneedle Investments EMEA APAC, where a role as Global Head of Asset Allocation was held from January 2012 to May 2022. Previous experience includes over 14 years at Baring Asset Management in various leadership roles, focusing on multi-asset and fixed income strategies. Nangle's academic background includes an MPhil in International Relations and an MA in History from the University of Cambridge.
