Channing Mavrellis

Channing Mavrellis is a Strategic Policy Analyst at the Department of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, a position held since September 2023. From September 2013 to August 2023, Channing served as the Director of the Illicit Trade Program and previously as an Analyst in Transnational Crime at Global Financial Integrity. Channing also worked as an ESL Instructor for various institutions between February 2011 and July 2012, creating lesson plans and leading conversation groups. Earlier experience includes serving as Head Teller and Member Service Representative at New England Federal Credit Union from December 2007 to January 2011, and teaching English at Shingal Middle School from August 2006 to August 2007. Channing holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs as well as a Graduate Certificate in French Translation from American University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
