Alzbeta Klein

Alzbeta Klein, CFA, serves as the CEO and Director General of the International Fertilizer Association since January 2021. Klein holds several board positions, including independent board member at FinDev Canada and chair of the Nominations and Governance Committee at the International Fertilizer Development Center. Additionally, Klein is a member of the Sustainability Advisory Board for Nestlé Nespresso SA. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at IFC - International Finance Corporation, where Klein managed a $16 billion investment business in emerging markets and led teams in climate business and portfolio management. Klein's educational background includes a PhD and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Ottawa, as well as executive education in finance and corporate governance from Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
