She have a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. She was born and raised in Gilroy. Before Fireclay, she worked as a Staff Accountant for Mainstreet Media who owned the Gilroy Dispatch, Morgan Hill Times, Hollister Freelance, and several other local newspapers for 13 years.
