Sydney Platt

Sydney Platt possesses a robust background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy and electrical components manufacturing. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Electrical Components Manufacturing at Firefly Aerospace since August 2023, Sydney previously held roles including Manufacturing Engineer in Avionics and Electrical Components. At Littoral Power Systems, Inc., from August 2021 to July 2023, Sydney worked as a Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer, gaining experience in small modular hydro operations. Sydney's education includes a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of San Diego. Throughout various internships and roles, Sydney has developed skills in project management, tool development, and innovative design within engineering teams.
