Sam L.

Sam L. is a Co-Founder and CTO at FoundIt since 2023, actively engaged in entrepreneurship. At The University of Texas at Austin, Sam serves as an Incoming Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Ethical Foundations of Computer Science, while previously holding roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant focused on Big Data in Biology and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Sequences, Series, and Multivariable Calculus. In addition to active involvement at FoundIt, Sam is an Open-Source Maintainer at Simplify and has a passion for gaming through Minecraft. With a background in investing in stocks and crypto, Sam also interned as a Data Engineer at H-E-B, a Software Engineer at Aristocrat Gaming, and served as a Venture Fellow at Fireside. Early experiences include a Code Quest Internship at Lockheed Martin and participation as a NYSCamp Texas Delegate with the National Youth Science Academy. Sam is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics, along with a Certificate in Statistics from The University of Texas at Austin.
