Bruce W. Duncan

Bruce Duncan serves as First Industrial’s Chairman of the Board, bringing more than 30 years of real estate management and investment experience to the role. Mr. Duncan previously served as President and CEO of the Company from January 2009 to December 2016.

Mr. Duncan presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR), the world’s largest hotel company. He formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading hotel and leisure companies in the world, from 2005 to September 2016. From April to September 2007, Mr. Duncan served as CEO of Starwood on an interim basis. He was a member of Starwood's Board of Directors since 1999, and was a Trustee of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a real estate investment trust and former subsidiary of Starwood, since 1995. Mr. Duncan is a member of the Board of Directors of Boston Properties, Inc. and he is also an independent director of the T. Rowe Price Funds. He also serves on the Board of Governors of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) and as a member of the Governing Council of the Independent Directors Council (IDC).
