Anthony Timbers

Anthony Timbers has a diverse professional background, currently serving as a Firsthand Guide (Peer Support Specialist) at Firsthand since September 2022. Previously, Anthony held the position of Peer Support Specialist at the Tennessee Mental Health Consumers' Association from August 2021 to September 2022. In addition to roles in mental health support, Anthony has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner and Operator of 19 Knots Promotional Products from May 2014 to March 2019, as well as the Founder and CEO of 19 Knots to Nowhere Clothing Company, a tattoo-inspired and nautically influenced brand, from 2013 to March 2019. Anthony's earlier career includes serving as an Instructor at the United States Naval Academy from December 2009 to November 2014 and as a Damage Controlman in the US Navy from August 2004 to November 2014. Education was pursued at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from March 2015 to June 2017.
