Saskia Ruys

Saskia Ruys currently serves as Associate Director in Funds & Asset Management at Fitch Ratings since July 2024. Previously, Saskia held positions as Associate Director and Sustainable Finance Analyst at Sustainable Fitch from August 2021 to June 2024, and worked as a Financial Services Advisory Associate at BDO UK LLP from January 2019 to August 2021, focusing on Skilled Person's Reviews and internal audits. In a short-term engagement as a Pro-bono Consultant for Impact Consulting in 2021, Saskia contributed to a project benefiting refugees in Kenya. Early experience includes marketing internships at Tesco and Double Dutch Drinks. Educational background includes a Diploma in Investment Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from The University of Edinburgh, supplemented by studies at Copenhagen Business School and ongoing coursework at the University of Cambridge focused on sustainability.
