Kenneth Derek

Kenneth Derek is an accomplished software engineer currently employed at Five Rings since August 2021. Prior to this role, Kenneth served as a research assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from January 2020 to May 2021, contributing to a first-author paper presented at the NeurIPS 2021 conference and acting as a graduate teaching assistant for Software Engineering. Kenneth's experience also includes a brief internship as a machine learning engineering intern at Microsoft and various research and software engineering internships at MIT Media Lab, Bloomberg LP, Indeed.com, and Overstock.com. Kenneth holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from MIT.
