Cristina Jauset Gonzalez

Cristina Jauset Gonzalez is an experienced researcher currently serving as an Associate at Flagship Pioneering since March 2023, focusing on developing innovative platform companies in health and sustainability. Previously, Cristina completed a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology at the University of Cambridge, conducting research on lymphatic metastasis in breast cancer and gaining expertise in high-throughput gene expression analysis and gene-editing techniques. In addition to a research-based MPhil from the same institution, Cristina participated in significant projects such as the CRUK IMAXT Grand Challenge Consortium and held various roles in startup environments, including as a Venture Fellow at Flagship Pioneering and a Venture Promoter at Start Codon. Early experiences included internships at notable laboratories in Spain, where skills in genomic instability and protein biology were developed.
