Maria Mercado

Maria Mercado is a doctoral candidate in Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto, expected to complete the program in 2024. Maria has gained diverse experience, including roles as an Associate and Flagship Fellow at Flagship Pioneering, and as a Contract Scientific Consultant at Bloom Burton & Co. Additionally, Maria co-founded Naloomar and held positions as a Graduate Student and Office of Advancement Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Maria earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology from the University of Toronto Scarborough in 2016.
