Sachit Saksena

Sachit S. is a Scientist II in Machine Learning at Flagship Pioneering since September 2022. Previously, Sachit held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from August 2018 to August 2022, contributing to the Gifford Laboratory and Computational Genomics group. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computational Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and dual Bachelor degrees in Computational Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. Experience also includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at MIT, various teaching and research positions at the University of Texas at Austin, a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, and reporting for The Daily Texan.
