Kari Uusitalo

Kari Uusitalo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of PM & ENG for Flender in Finland and China since September 2022, focusing on developing drivetrain solutions for wind turbine generators. Prior roles include Business Unit Manager at Eurofins Expert Services Oy, where Kari managed a team of over 100 experts with significant P&L responsibilities, and various leadership positions at Moventas, including Head of Technology and Conceptual Design, where Kari enhanced product development processes for turbine OEMs. Additionally, Kari worked as a Product Manager at Siemens Gamesa, overseeing global product life-cycle management for onshore wind turbine platforms, and held multiple roles at Moventas Gears Oy, contributing to business development and product introduction projects. Academically, Kari holds an Executive MBA in Business Strategy and an M.Sc. in Physics, both from the University of Jyväskylä.
