Milind Rao

Milind Rao, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and healthcare solutions. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Health Solutions at Flex since August 2021, Milind also contributes as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering at the University of San Diego. Previous roles include Staff Mechanical Engineer at Dexcom and Senior Engineer at BD, where innovative design improvements significantly impacted high-volume disposable medical devices. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from the University of Denver, a Master of Science in Computational Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
