José Cortez

José Cortez, CFA, currently serves as Vice President of Buy-Side Sales at FlexTrade, a position held since March 2021, where responsibilities include cultivating new business relationships for trading solutions aimed at supporting asset managers and multi-strategy hedge funds. Prior to this role, José was Vice President of Relationship Management for BlackRock's Aladdin Business from July 2017 to February 2021, focusing on strategic relationships and investment solutions for asset managers. José's earlier experience includes roles at The Boston Company Asset Management, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed portfolio implementation and equity trading systems support, and at Eze Software Group, providing client support to hedge funds. José began a career in finance as a Summer Analyst at Huron Consulting Group. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, José holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics.
