Syd Lawrence

Syd Lawrence is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and digital media, currently serving as VP of Strategic Workflows at Flip since October 2024, where the focus is on integrating The Bot Platform for employees through strategic workflows. Prior to this role, Syd co-founded and led The Bot Platform as CEO from May 2017 until its acquisition by Flip. Additionally, Syd has held various influential positions, including advisor at Landmrk, CEO of AwesomeWall, co-founder of We Make Awesome Sh Limited, and developer evangelist at Twilio Inc. Experience also includes teaching as a university lecturer in Digital Media Development and leading web development projects across different companies. Syd Lawrence holds a BSc in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning and Machine Vision from Cardiff University.
