Geoffrey Fojtasek

Geoffrey Fojtasek is a highly skilled data engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining automated ETL pipelines and data warehousing systems. Currently serving as a Staff Data Engineer at Flock Freight since January 2018, Geoffrey previously held roles as a Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer at the same company, where complex SQL queries were debugged and refactored. Prior to Flock Freight, Geoffrey worked as a Data Analyst at SeatAdvisor, designing an ETL pipeline for AWS Redshift and configuring internal and customer-facing reports, and as a Business Intelligence Specialist at Zurple, focusing on data analysis and statistical models. Early experience includes a Data Analyst position and Teaching Assistant role at UC San Diego. Geoffrey holds a Master of Arts in Sociology from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
