Jared Williams

Jared Williams is currently serving as Deputy Secretary at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jared held multiple positions at the Executive Office of the Governor from January 2017 to April 2024, including Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, Deputy Director of Communications, Policy Chief for the Environment Unit, and Budget and Policy Analyst. Jared's experience also includes management at Boondocks Grille and Drafthouse from September 2015 to January 2017 and a position as a Biological Scientist at the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute from June 2014 to September 2015. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Applied American Politics and Policy from Florida State University earned between 2019 and 2021, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution, completed in 2014.
