Chris Garner

Chris Garner has extensive experience in the railway industry, currently serving as Trainmaster/DSLE at Florida East Coast Railway since May 2024. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Operations Manager at Alabama State Port Authority Terminal Railroad from January 2023 to May 2024. An extensive career at CSX from April 1998 to May 2024 included roles such as Trainmaster, Road Foreman of Engines, Senior Road Foreman of Engines, Manager of Safety & Operating Practices, and Locomotive Engineer. Chris began their professional journey in the construction sector as an Operator/Welder from January 1995 to March 1998, and also worked as a Furnace Operator-Steel Mill at Torrington (now Timkin) in 1994.
