Aaron Kissler joined the Florida Department of Health in 2012 as the Health Officer for The Florida Department of Health in Gadsden County. Previously, he served as the Health Officer for Clear Creek County in Colorado. Aaron brings to his role 20 years of public health experience in California, Colorado, Louisiana, South Carolina, and of course, Florida.
He graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master's Degree in Public Health in 2003. Aaron has served as the Health Officer for Lake County since 2014. He is a representative of State Associations of County and City Health Officials (SACCHO), as well as a member of several other boards. His three passionate interests in public health are data analysis, Epidemiology, and community engagement.
