Joe Saunders

Joe Saunders, MPA, MNM, currently serves as the Senior Political Director at Equality Florida since July 2017 and as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University, teaching nonprofit management and public policy. Previous roles include Director of GOTV Programs for the Campaign to Elect Simon Hughes, Southern Director for the Human Rights Campaign, and State Representative in the Florida House of Representatives. Joe's advocacy work includes managing the Vote No on 1 campaign to protect LGBTQ civil rights in Gainesville. Joe holds a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the same institution.
