John Owens

John Owens is a trustee at Florida Memorial University and a former partner at K&L Gates, where they worked in mergers and acquisitions. John has represented companies in a variety of industries in acquisitions and investments, including telecommunications, renewable energy, entertainment, homeland security, and pharmaceuticals. John has also represented athletes and entertainers in investments in startups and growth-stage companies.

John Owens began their educational career at Princeton University, where they graduated with an A.B., cum laude. John then attended William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business, where they earned a J.D./MBA in Law/Business Administration.
