Timo Somervuo

Timo Somervuo is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in corporate credit and algorithmic trading. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate Credit Trading at Flow Traders since September 2019, Timo previously held the position of Executive Director at Nomura, leading Algorithmic Credit Trading from April 2017 to August 2019. Prior experience at Morgan Stanley spanned nearly a decade, where Timo advanced from Analyst to Executive Director, specializing in Credit Index Trading and high-yield credit. Timo's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Entrepreneurial Finance and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
