Kristy T Harlan

Kristy T Harlan is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Weyerhaeuser Company since January 2017, overseeing global legal, compliance, ethics, procurement, enterprise risk, land title, and corporate aviation functions. Harlan serves as an Advisory Board Member for FM Global and the Global Business Law Institute at the University of Washington School of Law. Prior to current roles, Harlan was a partner at K&L Gates from January 2007 to November 2016, focusing on corporate practice including M&A, capital markets, and governance, and held various committee positions. Earlier legal experience includes associate roles at Preston Gates & Ellis LLP and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Harlan earned a JD from the University of Houston Law Center, an MBA from the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business, and a BBA in Finance from Gonzaga University.
