Georgia Athanasouli

Georgia Athanasouli currently serves as an Internal Auditor at FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank since June 2023. Prior to this role, Georgia was a Financial Reporting Risk and Controls Officer at Nationale-Nederlanden from September 2022 to May 2023, and worked at PwC Greece as a Risk Assurance Internal Audit Associate from February 2020 to August 2021. Georgia's earlier experience includes a position as a Junior Financial Controller in the Internal Auditing Department at LALIZAS from June 2018 to February 2020, where responsibilities included preparing financial reports and coordinating audits. An initial internship in the Accounting Consulting Department at PwC took place from November 2017 to February 2018. Georgia holds a Master's degree in Accounting, Auditing and Control (Finance track) from Erasmus School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business.
