Charley Moratho

Charley Moratho is an experienced professional in data and analytics, currently serving as the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at FNB South Africa since February 2015. In this role, Charley has advanced through various positions, including Head of Pricing and Analytics and Quantitative Analyst. Additionally, Charley founded Aparang Bothakga, a laundry and dressmaker shop, in February 2018. Previously, Charley worked at Absa Group from July 2013 to January 2015 as a Corporate Modeller, managing the development of corporate models for lending and building credit risk models. Charley's career began with roles at Edcon and Clicks Group, with early experience as an Assistant Store Manager and Salesperson, respectively. Charley holds a Master of Science in Business Mathematics and Informatics from North-West University, along with honors and bachelor's degrees in related fields from the University of the Witwatersrand.
