Andrew Defrancis

Andrew DeFrancis currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Focus Features, a position held since 2018, following a tenure as Vice President in the same department. Prior to this role, Andrew DeFrancis spent six years at The Walt Disney Studios, where contributions included serving as Director of Business Affairs for Lucasfilm Ltd. and various roles in motion picture production. Legal experience prior to Disney includes a Senior Associate position in Entertainment and Media Litigation at White O'Connor Fink & Brenner LLP and an Associate role at Latham & Watkins focusing on Intellectual Property Litigation. Additionally, Andrew DeFrancis completed a Judicial Clerkship under the Honorable Edward Rafeedie at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of San Francisco, graduated with honors.
