Jürgen Duchenne

Jürgen Duchenne is a highly skilled researcher in the field of cardiovascular sciences, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Research Foundation Flanders since October 2021 and as a Visiting Researcher at Maastricht University since April 2020. With extensive experience as a Core Lab Manager and Research Scientist at KU Leuven, Jürgen has co-designed a multi-centre clinical trial involving over 700 patients and has coordinated numerous clinical trials focused on heart failure. Jürgen's doctoral training included deep involvement in cardiac imaging and clinical trial management, complemented by previous experiences as a Clinical Trial Manager at UZ Leuven and roles during master’s and bachelor’s studies, culminating in a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from UHasselt.
