Maarten Dobbelaere is a doctoral researcher at Universiteit Gent focusing on machine learning applications in pharmaceutical discovery and synthesis, with ongoing PhD research in chemical engineering. Currently serving as an FWO Aspirant at Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen since November 2021, Maarten is engaged in strategic basic research on computer-aided organic synthesis in flow.
