Rabi Raut

Rabi Raut is an experienced leader in the field of agricultural sciences, currently serving as an Intern at the FAO since July 2024. Previously, Rabi held the position of President of the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS) from September 2023 to July 2024, focusing on fostering leadership among the next generation of agricultural professionals. Rabi's leadership roles also include Project Head at the IAAS Adaptation Think Tank and Global Ambassador for Thought For Food, both from April 2022 to July 2024. Rabi's involvement with IAAS encompasses previous positions such as Regional Director, National Vice President of External Relations, and Study Abroad Coordinator within the Asia Pacific region. Rabi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering with a focus on Energy Management and Systems Technology from Tribhuvan University, where Rabi studied from 2018 to 2022.
