Raphael Tsanga, PhD, is a Forestry Officer at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) since January 2025, previously serving as a Senior Expert in Environmental Law & Policy at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) from April 2010 to January 2025. Raphael has held multiple positions at CIFOR, including Scientist focused on forest governance and sustainable value chains, Senior Research Officer on value chains, finance and investments, Research Officer in forest governance, and Consultant as a forest certification specialist. Additionally, Raphael worked as a Consultant for the FAO in forest governance from November 2020 to October 2021 and completed an internship as a Socioeconomic Officer at ROUGIER Groupe in 2009. Academically, Raphael holds a PhD in Environmental Law from Aix-Marseille University and a Master's degree in Law from the University of Yaounde II.
