Kate Urbank is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and political campaign management. Currently serving as Site Director for Food Rescue US - DC since October 2016, Kate is instrumental in the organization's mission to combat food waste and food insecurity through volunteer engagement. Prior to this role, significant contributions were made to various political campaigns, including as a key member of the Campaign Leadership Team for Dan Malloy's successful gubernatorial elections in Connecticut. In addition, Kate held positions such as Vice Chair of the Stamford Democratic City Committee and Campaign Manager for Andrew McDonald’s State Senate bid. Early career achievements include roles with WETA in television production and as Development Director at Matrix Parent Network. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, focusing on US History and Diplomacy.
