Wael Mohamed

Wael Mohamed is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Managing General Partner at Global Forward Capital since January 2018, Wael previously held significant roles, including Chief Executive Officer at Forescout Technologies Inc. and Operating Partner at Advent International. As Chairman of Cysiv and a board member at Trend Micro, Wael contributed to the company's strategic direction during a decade-long tenure, having transitioned to Trend Micro following the acquisition of Third Brigade, a cybersecurity firm Wael co-founded and led as President & CEO until its sale in 2009. Earlier career highlights include Vice President of Global Sales at ZixCorp and Vice President of Sales at Entrust, complemented by a robust educational background that includes executive programs at Harvard University, MIT Sloan, Queen's University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Dalhousie University.
