Luke Brookman

Luke Brookman is a skilled Powertrain Design Engineer currently working at Gordon Murray Design since January 2023. Previously, Luke held the position of Head of Powertrain Systems at SHU Racing from September 2019 to August 2022, where involvement included management team duties for the UK IMechE Formula Student competition. Luke also served as Finance and Procurement Manager, enhancing financial tracking and managing the annual budget. Additional experience includes a Mechanical Engineer placement at Hoare Lea, a Simulation Engineer role for Project SunFire, and a Chalet Host position with TUI during a gap year. Luke holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, alongside A Levels and GCSEs from The Ashcombe School.
