Karl Rasmus August Haxthausen

Karl Rasmus August Haxthausen is a dedicated environmental engineer with extensive experience in various roles within environmental consulting and research. Currently serving as a Specialkonsulent at Forsvarsministeriets Ejendomsstyrelse since April 2023, Karl previously held the position of Projektleder at DMR A/S, where responsibilities included managing projects related to soil, groundwater, and surface water. With a strong academic background, including a PhD from the Technical University of Denmark focused on the remediation of surface water using bioelectrodes, Karl has also co-founded BlueBenu and served as Director of NiHax, emphasizing the optimization of technologies and processes for reduced environmental impact. Additional professional experiences span roles as a researcher and assistant, alongside practical involvement in rainwater management and air pollution measurement projects.
