Altynay Bolysbekova

Altynay Bolysbekova is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in auditing and financial management. Currently serving as Chief Accountant at Fortescue since April 2022, Altynay engages in the preparation of accounting and tax policies, financial statements, and ensures compliance with legislation and tax requirements. Previously, Altynay held the position of Audit Manager at Grant Thornton Kazakhstan from November 2019 to March 2022, where leadership of audit teams and preparation of reports in accordance with IFRS were key responsibilities. Altynay's auditing career began at EY from January 2014 to September 2019, progressing through various roles that included Senior and Staff Auditor, focusing on audit planning, internal controls, and process improvements. Altynay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from KIMEP University.
