Parsoua Shirzad

Community & Indigenous Initiatives Liaison at FortisBC

Parsoua Shirzad, MPP, currently serves as the Community & Indigenous Initiatives Liaison at FortisBC, focusing on fostering authentic relationships with Indigenous Peoples and communities. Prior to this role, Parsoua was the Chief Impact Officer at Trendi, where efforts centered on enhancing ESG performance to promote food security and climate initiatives. Additional experience includes leadership positions in impact and innovation at The Castlemain Group, business analysis for the City of North Vancouver, and entrepreneurship as Co-Founder and Editor in Chief of two start-up businesses. Parsoua began a career in experiential marketing at Mosaic North America, working with prominent clients. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Sociology, both from Simon Fraser University.
