Laura Kruse

Laura Kruse is a Functional Consultant at Foundant Technologies. Laura has previously worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at DST Systems, a Program Coordinator at CIMBA, and an Accountant at Long & Associates Public Accountants, Inc. Laura has also served as a Controller at Bestifor Farms.

Laura began their career in 2005 as a Resident Intern at CIMBA. In 2006, they became the Program Coordinator at CIMBA and coordinated the undergraduate study abroad program in Italy for approximately 250 students. Laura recruited students, reviewed all applications for admissions, scholarship applications and performed seminars prior to student departure.

In 2011, Laura became a Senior Financial Analyst at DST Systems. In this role, they prepared monthly close packs for corporate accounting within 5 days of month-end, met with key stakeholders monthly to review budget to actuals, discuss variances and upcoming projects, assisted Enterprise Services teams in preparing yearly budgets and forecasting capital acquisitions, and identified yearly savings of $180,000 - $300,000 for Enterprise Services through data analysis.

In 2014, Laura left DST Systems to become an Accountant at Long & Associates Public Accountants, Inc. Laura held this position until 2016 when they became the Controller at Bestifor Farms. Laura served as the Controller at Bestifor Farms until 2019 when they joined Foundant Technologies as a Functional Consultant.

Laura Kruse has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Business Administration from The University of Kansas and a Business & Accounting degree from CIMBA.
