Darrell Deaton

Darrell Deaton, FACHE, serves as Vice President of NCCARE360 at the Foundation for Health Leadership & Innovation since November 2021. With extensive experience in healthcare strategy and consulting, Darrell has held senior positions including National Baldrige Senior Examiner at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from 2016 to 2022, Partner at Patient Centered Innovation, and Interim Consultant at Duke University Health System. Previous roles include System Vice President at SSM Health, Vice President of Strategic Planning at Methodist Healthcare System, Senior Director of Strategic Development at Vidant Health, and Vice President of Planning & Information at High Point Regional Health System. Darrell began career as a Consultant at Healthcare Concepts. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Health Administration and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Psychology, both from Duke University.
