Lorena Gurule-Montes

Lorena Gurule-Montes, MSW, currently serves as the Development Director at the Foundation for the Children of the Californias, where the focus is on leading development and fundraising strategies while cultivating partnerships to enhance the foundation's initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as Development & Community Engagement Manager and Community Engagement Specialist at Clearity, where the emphasis was on building donor relationships and supporting families impacted by ovarian cancer. Additional experience spans various positions in social work, including MSW Intern Clinician at San Diego Youth Services, Program Supervisor at San Ysidro Health Center, and program management roles ensuring the well-being of children in foster care. Lorena holds a Master of Social Work from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
