Jaye Gardiner

Jaye Gardiner, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Fox Chase Cancer Center since August 2017, specializing in the persistence of HIV-1 infection despite antiretroviral therapy. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Sherer Lab from November 2011 to April 2017, where research focused on ongoing viral replication among closely interacting cells. Jaye Gardiner also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from June 2009 to August 2010, investigating the ability of O6-Alkylguanine-DNA Alkyltransferase variants to repair specific DNA adducts through various laboratory techniques. Jaye Gardiner holds a Ph.D. in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2011-2017) and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Macalester College (2007-2011).
