Michael Donovan

Michael Donovan is currently serving as the Fox Fitness Supervisor at Fox Valley Park District since April 2024. Previous experience includes roles as Recreation Coordinator for United City of Yorkville from April 2022 to April 2024, where responsibilities included planning and implementing athletics leagues and special events, and as Recreation Assistant at Sandwich Park District from August 2020 to April 2022. Michael also gained experience as a Promotions and Ticket Sales Intern at Joliet Slammers Professional Baseball Club in 2019, Game Operations Intern at Illinois State University in 2019, and as a Summer Camp Counselor at Gametime Gym in 2018. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Illinois State University (2016-2019) and an Associate’s degree from Illinois Valley Community College (2014-2016).
