Sarah H. Kershner, PhD, is currently an Associate Professor and Chair of the Healthcare Administration department at Francis Marion University, a position held since January 2017. Kershner earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Clemson University, a Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from the University of South Carolina's Arnold School of Public Health. Prior to the current role, Kershner served as Pee Dee Coordinator at the SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy from 2007 to 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing research and program management. Kershner's earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina, facilitating health education programs for at-risk youth.
