James Mavros

James Mavros is an experienced coordinator and manager in hospitality and venue services, currently serving as the Coordinator of Hospitality Services at Frankston City Council since October 2021. Previously, James held roles at Wyndham City Council, including Area Leader for Venue Presentation & Hospitality Services and Contract Manager, where responsibilities included project management of the Encore Events Centre and strategic planning for creative spaces. Short-term consulting work was performed at Yarra Ranges Council, providing oversight for various arts venues. James's management experience also includes overseeing operations at The Growling Frog Golf Course and the Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre for the City of Whittlesea Council. Additionally, James was the owner of three acclaimed Melbourne restaurants from 1982 to 2005. James holds a Master of Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology and a degree in Business from TAFE NSW.
