Nelson J. Ginebra

Nelson J. Ginebra is an experienced video editor and videographer currently working at NBCUniversal since November 2008, where responsibilities include shooting and editing daily national and regional news stories using AVID Media Composer and Adobe Photoshop. In addition, Ginebra contributes as a columnist for the Frederick News-Post, writing opinion-editorial pieces bi-monthly. As an Adjunct Professor II at Montgomery College, Ginebra teaches digital video/audio and multimedia editing principles, developing lesson plans that emphasize storytelling and industry practices. Previous roles include project management and production for The Teaching Company and serving as a producer, director, video editor, and writer for Montgomery County Public Schools. Ginebra also held a video editor and videographer position at NBCUniversal earlier in career, maintaining strong expertise in both English and Spanish media production. Ginebra holds a BA in Communications from the University of Maryland.
