Jaroslav Valuch

Jaroslav Valuch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in journalism, media literacy, and communication. Currently serving as Country Coordinator at Free Press Unlimited since March 2022 and as News Literacy and Factchecking Program Manager at Transitions Online since March 2011, Jaroslav has been instrumental in training initiatives across Europe and Asia. Additionally, Jaroslav works as an Independent Consultant focusing on media literacy and combating hate speech, while also holding positions as Chairman of the Administrative Board at the Institute for Social Inclusion and Expert Consultant for various communication campaigns. Jaroslav's leadership in projects like Press Start and the Crisis Map of the Czech Republic, along with educational credentials from the University of Maryland and Tomas Bata University in Zlín, showcases a commitment to enhancing media understanding and strategic communication in diverse regions globally.
