Rob Orr

Rob Orr is a seasoned professional in the natural gas and commodities sector, currently serving as Vice President of Natural Gas Origination at Freepoint Commodities since May 2017. Prior to this role, Rob held the position of Senior Vice President of Private Equity focusing on U.S. Natural Gas at Fortress Investment Group from May 2016 to April 2017. Rob's extensive experience includes serving as a Senior Negotiator for Natural Gas Trading and Origination at Statoil from July 2009 to April 2016, and Head Structurer for Energy & Commodities at UBS Investment Bank from March 2006 to June 2009. Earlier career roles include Portfolio Risk Analyst/Manager at Direct Energy and Risk Analyst at PG&E National Energy Group. Rob's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both obtained from the University of Calgary.
