Bismark Osei

Bismark Osei, MSc, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Decarbonization Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Mine Manager at Superior Silica Sands and Manager of a Gypsum Mine at Georgia-Pacific LLC. Bismark has also held several positions at Freeport-McMoRan, including Sr. Supervisor and Senior Engineer for Mine Operations, as well as Senior Mine Planning Engineer responsible for long-range planning. Earlier in the career, Bismark worked as a Mine Engineer at the Minerals Commission (Ghana) and as an Assistant Manager at Mantrac Ghana Limited. Academic qualifications include an MBA from West Texas A&M University, a Master’s in Mining Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
