Jeffrey T. Johannessen, MBA, CCSP, CFSP, serves as the Functional Safety and Vehicle Cyber Security Manager at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation since July 2018, overseeing compliance with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434. Prior experience includes roles in automation management and electrical product validation engineering, where responsibilities encompassed project management for substantial automation projects, leadership of engineering teams, and development of electric vehicle validation plans. Additional industry experience includes positions at Daimler Trucks North America, Nol-Tec Southeast, Dematic Corp, Windak USA, and earlier roles in customer service and field engineering. Educational qualifications include an MBA in International Business and a BS in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University, along with an AAS in Electronics Engineering from Gaston College.
